Stephan and Marissa Maric have been building merit-based education programs for over 10 years for Connecticut students, and they come from a family of higher-education professionals. Four years ago, Stephan and Marissa left their jobs (as an aerospace engineer and school principal respectively) to found Mileva Maric Montessori, a K-12 private school in West Hartford.

Stephan and Marissa have opened week-long SAT/ACT classes that aim to help students raise their scores by 100 points each week.
